Yes, Nepal is generally safe for tourists. The country is known for its hospitality and welcoming culture. Travolex ensures all tours are operated with experienced guides and verified transport and accommodation partners to prioritize your safety.
Most Travolex Nepal packages focus on cities like Kathmandu (1,400m) and Pokhara (800m), which are at low altitudes and pose no risk of altitude sickness. Altitude-related risks only apply to high-altitude treks like Everest Base Camp, and we take precautions if such activities are included.
Nepal experiences four distinct seasons, with spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) being the most popular times to visit. Spring offers warm days and vibrant rhododendron blooms across the hills, while autumn provides clear skies and the most breathtaking mountain views. Monsoon season (June to August) brings heavy rainfall, especially in hilly and rural areas, which can affect travel plans. Winter (December to February) is chilly but generally dry, especially in the Kathmandu and Pokhara regions, making it suitable for sightseeing with lighter tourist crowds.
